Wondering if I should make his CE restricted to non-uniques, the restriction would only eliminates Luke's Snowspeeder and Chewbacca and Ewoks in AT-ST. Though I do have to say that Luke's speeder with 24 defense, 16 attack, evade and a crack gunner shot might acually make it as playable as other Luke options.

I think limiting the CE to non-uniques is a wise idea. The Luke/Wedge Snowspeeders with those bennies isn't necessarily a good idea.

Agreed on non-uniques. But you should also give him Double Attack so he has the option to get more attacks off instead of just boosting the MW guy he is driving.

I was thinking this. It might be a bit convoluted, but Ace Pilot (Replace turn, An adjacent non-Unique Mounted weapon gains this character's Attack and Defense, if higher, and one Special Ability. This character is removed. If this Mounted Weapon is defeated, place this unit back upon the board within the closest square at 10 HPs, save 11.)

Something like that would work, I'd have to rework the stats for that so I may change it down the road to free up the imaginary card space. As long as the end result would be the same he hops in a vehicle and rocks the field just as wedge should, since he's an Ace pilot not an operative/commando!

Might be a bit cumbersome but it might also be a great new dynamic. I wish I thought of it first for my version.

Modified him - Synergy for himself (as ace pilot grants the ability to the Mounted Weapon Ally it works as intended - when he's piloting a vehicle)

@Lord_Ball - it works but it's just weird. Why not just add another sentence to Ace Pilot that grants it +2/+2?

a couple reason, as an Ability I'd like to have be reuseable and may not always want the +2/+2, I also found it somewhat wonky when added in like that - ooo I got it I'll just change it to pilot instead of Wedge by name
