Just some thoughts.

I see we had very similar thoughts. You went the special ability route with Search and Find, I went the CE route using Revan's template. I just can't argue with Twin coupled with Sweep. I'm not sure TPM technically refers to Maul, but I can squint enough to get past it. Might be a couple of points too cheap.

I think that Cloaked might be a bit more flavorful and accurate to Maul instead of The Phantom Menace, but I agree with saber1 about the squinting. Jar'Kai Technique is an interesting idea, though I think that it might be worthwhile to increase his cost and add Teras Kasi, reflecting the flavor text even more. Search and Find is interesting, but I'm worried that it might be borderline broken--that is an absolutely huge movement breaker.

If I had to say anything based on the piece as it is, I'd probably guess that it is undercosted. Twinning every adjacent enemy at +18 Attack for 60 total damage is a little too strong, especially considering that he can do it thrice. Otherwise, the piece looks good.

@SignerJ: That's a best case scenario. Assassin is utterly useless against many Sep squads. Of course, swarming droids tend to be fragile.

wow lots of feedback, lets see... I originally had him with Stealth I think I will switch back which should also help with the cost. I think Cloaked is to much for maul, force cloak maybe, but we have had enough Maul's with that Force Power. Same with teräs käsi just more of the same. Since the game is generally shooter biased I think we could use some great Movement breakers for Melee pieces, but perhaps the one I have on him is too strong, Maybe I should limit it to sight?

Assassin will be used to represent his use under Sidious, mostly as an assassin, though Maul had no trouble with Droids. I'm adding Force Leap too. He shines when adjacent to multiple enemies representing his Jar'Kai skills (which from what I understand he mostly only uses when against more than one enemy) Thoughts on Force Pull?

Search and Find is a bit of an oddity here. what if you allowed the swap at the beginning of his turn instead of the end of the probes? then it's be a bit more in line with other rules at least. something like: (At the beginning of this characters turn he may switch positions with an ally named DRK-1 Dark Eye Probe Droid)

@Lord Ball, your suggestion is almost verbatim the commander effect I came up with back in the day for my Sith Probe Droid custom. It fits that character better, IMHO, and should have been on the official Dark Eye. My new Maul has the same mechanic in CE form but I changed it to "once during this character's turn". My reasoning is the Droid is used to scout, so Maul can ambush. If he swaps at the end of his turn, it takes away a lot of the ambush part. I don't know if that is DW's thinking, or if I even made any sense here.

I used the text that was suggested, it looks cleaner. This guy should be used to clean out fodder and target commanders. Swap him close then Leap into the commander huddle and let the slaughter begin. He isn't quite as good in a one on one fight, but once he is adjacent to 2 enemies they won't be going anywhere with Twin and Assassin

Its funny how similar our pieces turned out. We obviously had a similar design goal in mind. It looks good, though I might look at a slight bump cost.

I like the fluidity of this character. It might be a touch undercosted but he makes the dark eye much more interesting. And force pull works great with Jar'Kai
