I don't know, there's still some nasty things you can do with that CE. I like the fact that it has no range. :)
How about Yularen, CC Gree, and Wookiee Freedom Fighters. :P
Boba Merc gets a really nice boost here, especially if you pair him with The Dark Woman and Qui-Gon JT as well. Now you've got Boba shooting ALWAYS at a +18 or +22. Ouch.
Cad Bane will work good in that scenario as well.
Heck, even just some clone builds could be interesting. Toss in a Czerka and use Captain Rex to Jolt a big piece at the beginning of the round, and then the Czerka helps all the clones get Twin with Opportunist against said piece.
It basically allows you to build squads like Mith'rawn/Vader LOTF, but instead use Yularen/Panaka/Flobi instead, and basically get the same things, for roughly the same cost, I would add. Obi may be a better piece overall than Vader LOTF as well, plus you're getting the extra activation. About the only thing you lose is Thrawn's Master Tactician, and the fact that Thrawn's Opportunist CE applies to all Followers, not just non-melee ones.
Definitely glad it doesn't work on Commanders or Melee pieces though. Yobuck with Opportunist or JWMs with Opportunist...some of those options could have been scary.
Should be fun to use though!

No doubt, Yularen is a great piece. There are great shooters that work with him. Just not the one that everyone seems to add to Republic squads. Doesn't work with Yobuck, but Ani on Stap could be real fun...

Kind of disapointing that he doesn't give cunning since there are no tempo control peices in Republic. He definitley doesn't make your chances against Slow Cannon or Fingers squad any better. I can see him getting used in local meta but not national. I was hoping he was tempo control or a Reiken.

Well, on the one hand, I'm glad that he isn't just giving cookie cutter abilities just to mirror other factions. I still long for the days when Seps were the only ones with Tempo control. And you seriously don't want the Republic to gain access to a piece like Rieekan. There's some SERIOUS problems with giving Evade to the Republic faction, or heck, even just Mobile. Tempo control would've been OK though, IMO. I honestly LIKE the fact that he grants Opportunist without any tempo control though. Makes you think more about how you're going to build the squad. Opportunist in Imperial factions, even with Ozzel can be tough sometimes, because you might be getting Opportunist, but you're limited to 1 activation all the time. Opportunist works the easiest in the Rebel faction right now, where you can mix and match things a bit because of the versatility that Dodonna offers. Personally, I'd rather have to make tough choices with squad builds and tactics, rather than be able to do whatever I want because I know a piece like Dodonna will allow me to do that. So, with the Republic, there's plenty of ways to utilize that Opportunist (plus he's a good cheap Recon piece for the Republic, which was missing, outside of Lobot CLO). You just have to get more creative with things like the Czerka, Jedi Mind Trick, etc. The Republic have a lot of Surprise Move now too, and decent early round tricks throughout the faction, which can help to coerce your opponent into making those tough decisions. Do I move now and avoid getting wailed on by Kit Fisto/Flobi/Gen Skywalker, or do I move later so I don't get shot by those Opportunist clones? In the long run, it's better for the health of the game for things to work like this, rather than giving Republic the same thing other factions already have.

It seems almost like a cheap version of Mitthrawn to me. Opportunist to non-melee followers instead of allies, but no MT and no swap. Granted, he's 10 points cheaper, but it just doesn't seem quite as potent. As someone mentioned before, AniSTAP might see some more play with him.

No problem, it'll be cool to know the rest of the stats. But thanks for posting what you know already! What other VR's did you get (or did you get just the one booster)?

Seems like Tuuk is an bad Dodonna ? But playable i think.
