Me? interesting? hmmm?.....I l ve to make customs.I was drawn to SWM because of the detail of the minis.
So, I custom my fav. v-set pieces. I've made Vergere x3 and mine have real feathers.It's esier for me to keep v-set pieces staight when they look like the character.

Thrawn. Not just because he is a good piece, but because of the great Timothy Zahn novels.

Play or collect?
Prior to discovering the international community and competitive arena, I used to run my own scenarios and events at HMGS conventions on the east coast. My first love is still mass battles, and my 100% complete collection reflects that. I would be more apt to trade a very rare unique duplicate than a common stormtrooper.

Anything else interesting?
Back in the mid-90's before my boys began getting involved in sports, I was a USTTA member and competed (and won) table tennis tournaments in Pa, Md, Nj, and Tx. Although I stopped playing competitively to coach and support my sons in their athletic ventures, I can still beat any one of you young bucks sitting down. Don't try me.

Favourite faction? Ah...toughie. Gotta go Imperials. It's just way, way too much fun to swap in a VAU and annihilate my friend's prized clone army in one turn.

Favorite Piece? Another tough one. Four answers, a tie...

1. Corran Horn, Jedi Master. Great piece, character representation-wise and competitiveness-wise/
2. My Darth Traya custom, made by Darthbane53. It looks amazing (check out his thread) and I'm proud of the custom stats I came up with, one of my better stats, imho. (I don't make my own customs since I'm picky about quality; if I started making my own they wouldn't be anywhere near DB53's level).
3. Jango Fett, Bounty Hunter. Best WotC sculpt by several miles, a light year, and Jabba's waistline.
4. Mitt'raw'nurudo. I use him more than GAT, as good as ysalamiri is.

Play or Collect? Play, and collect. I also use the minis for Saga so that's sort of in between.
Anything else iinteresting? I like to wear my $3000 suit whenever possible, but people still make me start at the back of the line. I mean, come ON!
