I will post a preview of the King of the Ring Trophy later on today prepare to be amazed, its the biggest trophy I have done so far. It is 9in x 9in x 5in tall. and if I don't run out of time it will be wired with lights as well.

Dude this is gonna be crazy good!!!! Just got off the phone with Jeff @ Pair-A-Dice and we are all set to go on the 23rd. I'm thinking depending on the field size; that perhaps a 100pt X-wing tourney might be in order, once the Swiss rounds are completed.

honestly since you guys are jut practicing and messing around with the idea of getting into it. I would just use plaster of paris. its cheap and will give up a good idea as to the time involved

So I saw Gerry in the hall today and it appears he's bought a new froofy jacket for FrostyCon. I kid you not, without exaggeration, he looks like a teal version of the following image minus the goggles and gloves...and badge:  DarphNutbag in Han's Hoth Jacket? He has a special ability called "WTF Moment - Usable on this character's turn. Range 6. Stun target and induce a severe case of the giggles; save 20."

Note to anyone playing King of the Ring: If you bring a piece with Soresu Style Mastery - I will sacrifice my entire squad to make sure you don't win. It's an already ridiculous broken ability that will make this format in particular much less fun for everyone.  Even if it makes no sense for me to attack you, I will anyway, just to punish you for being a jag-off and bringing that crap.  You all have been warned.  Otherwise it will be a lot of fun.

Welcome Timmer getting his time-off approved it seems! I certainly understand the disdain regarding the two pieces at the centre of your ire Tim. While I'll personally stop short of making a ruling banning these two, I will however invite our co-competitors to weigh in with their vote and will support whatever decision is made and will if needed act as the tie-breaker. How about you as the "duly deputized" set up a poll on this matter...

So play Lord Vader, Nihilus, KAAAAAAANNNN!, Firebreather, or that one dooku. Seriously Tim, we get it, you don't like SSM. I'm not going to be able to make it to this event, but if I was I'd have an issue with you calling out someone for playing the game how they see fit inside the rules. You don't like SSM, then play the counter and deal with it like everyone else.
