Those new Force Powers are absolutely horrid. I don't care how big the damage bonus is; if I have to risk making the piece useless, killing it, or handing it over to my opponent, it's not worth it. I seriously hope they don't factor into their character's cost... you know, at all.

Well, I'll be glad to get some new Talz. There's a Talz custom I've wanted to make for some time now, but the Talz Spy never quite fit the bill.
A Gungan fringer could be fun, too.

Cool! Was just playing Force Unleashed the other day and wondered why we didn't have a Kota's militia figure. Also like seeing a Jax Pavin.

Billiv makes a good point on the WotC forum - if my fig that will betray is about to die (10-20 HP left), I'll use the extra damage and then I'd LIKE him to betray - so I can kill him with my next activation and get the victory points for him. It's not ideal, and I don't think it will happen very often, but it's always a possibility. I'm not too keen on them either, but we are also seeing them in a vacuum and they really can't be properly judged, either.

Here's hoping. Those new FP are really cool. Perfect finishers. A lot of Jedi hate as well. I really like that Watchman.

So those pieces plus 8 more? Did I count correctly?

A three point "brute"? Seems kind of contradictory doesn't it?

Well so far I like 14 of the 32. I was hoping for a little more from the Mandos and less reprints. Still looks interesting and I'm sure I'll buy more boosters than I need, as always. Laugh

Sweet. More mercs...Jedi hate... Extra ARFs.... This is beginning to look like Moose's Cloud 9.

I am also impressed with Veers' CE, as it currently stands. This could bring back high-defense stormie swarms.

But I don't like the FPs a bit. Why would I pay for extra damage for a fifty-fifty chance of being killed unless I was absoutely desperate?

Man, anyone else love IG-88's ability? Blowing up 10 HP pieces while threatening something else rules.

Hell yeah, I do! This is like Veers Hologram, only mounted on a much more epic piece.

well the FP that has the downfall of being defeated, its on a fig who has the lightsaber special ability and double, so your dishing out 40 an atk that block cant stop. and as previously said if the fig only has 10hp left what have you got to lose?

Hmm... you're right, that is a good point. I hadn't though of that. I'm still extremely skeptical of the auto-kill one, though. Might just be me, but I'd rather make my opponent waste the attack/activation to kill my crippled unit than do his job for him.

Again, depends on the situation. If you need that extra 20-40 dam to kill an enemy as well, especially a key one.

I don't think the emperor's bodyguard is Jax or Kanos. Crying I believe atlas said it was a double sided lightsaber. Could the small bounty hunter be Robonino? (I really doubt this) This set isn't that terribly impressive if the "rumors" are true. And if Atlas remembers all of this, why not say where he found them? Seems kinda sketchy to me. And Meramere or whomever the wookie is, why would he be made over say a new Tarfull?

handing it over might be fun when its at 10 hp, then kill it and you score points LOL
