Howdy!
I was just reading through the Epic v-set and subsequently read some of the Gencon reports' mentions of Epic Duos.
What do you folks think of the format? Any interest in giving a couple of Epic Duos a whirl on Saturday?

We've used the Epic set twice. How we did it was shuffle the stat cards and each player draw two, then play a sort of free-for-all on one map. I'd give it another whirl; it was good fun.

I wasn't around last time we tried epic, so I'd be up for a game or two of Epic, either as Epic Duos or as a general scrum.

some of the starwars special and other starwarsy things will be showing this monday(5th of Dec) at 7:30 at the Hollywood Theater, sandy & 41st i think, its on sandy near the 40s and 30s

Judging by the length of the event, I can safely say there's no way they are showing the whole Holiday Special, but likely the "best" parts. Either way, it sounds like it will be fun.

Looks like no minis this week as Guardian has cancelled all Saturday events for a Magic Pro Tour Event (winner gets a trip to Barcelona).

Mea culpa Lilly, I cheated you on Saturday!
Looking over my squad it was 14pts over. It should only have had 1 R7 and 1 Ugnaught instead of 2 and 3. By rights IG-88 should have been able to get through that central room earlier and pulled out a win.
