Xizor, Head of the Black Sun
cost 55 Fringe
HP 110
Def 22
Att 12
dam 20
Unique, Double Attack, Accurate Shot
Rival (against Vader)
Pheramones
Teras Kasi Style

Crime Lord ( Living allies get +2 attack and +2 defense if your squad contains only Fringe characters)

CE:
Black Sun allies within 6 gain Extra Attack (finally the TBSV can use his GMA like he was supposed too! Discounting the Exile and such)

Black Sun followers gain Accurate Shot

Pretty nice eh?

I will get to Palps Reborn later on, as for me it's time to hit the hay.Smile Enjoy!

Love the new Xizor! I really like the black sun subfaction, should be interesting to build some squads with him, especially with help from the BSVs and Talon

Love this:

Chewie:
Rebels, 38 points
Hp 100, Def 18, Att 10, Dmg 20

SA
Unique
Pilot. Wookie. Double Attack
Greater mobile attack
Let the wookiee win (If this character damages an adjacent enemy, that enemy gets -4 attack against this character for the rest of the round).
Momentum
Never Upset A Wookie : If this character has less than half hit point remaining, his attacks cannot be prevented or redirected).

Throw enemy 2: Replaces attack: Touch: 30 Damage to 2 medium or smaller target enemies without a force rating, and push back those enemies to 4 squares from this character: save 16)
Walking Carpet ( When an adjancent ally whose name contains lea activates, this character may immediately move up to his speed. )

I can honestly say, this is, without a doubt, the definitive Chebacca. Ladies and Gentlemen (and Gender Neutrals), I give you, Chewie BlooMilk

Sooo many c-c-c-comboooooo possibilities. I also like that you can finagle him into the Republic for tarple's double throw.

My favorites from the set are probably Chewie, Boba Fett, and Ommin.

I think Ommin is a very interesting swarm counter. With Exar Kun next to him, and if he's hiding around a corner in gambit, any 10hp piece that tries to approach him is most likely (70% chance) dead. A 20hp piece will get to attack him, but it will probably be avoided (70% chance on Illusion), and there's a good chance he's dead when he tries to activate a second time (49% chance of failing both Presence of the Dark Side saves). With the 10 point boost to gambit, ignoring him probably isn't an option.

Chewie is full of fun abilities with awesome names.

I hope Boba Fett doesn't turn into a huge NPE. He's a bag of tricks that could end up being annoying to an opponent, but the bag of tricks is very Fett.

This is brilliant for mechanics:

Grievous's Bodyguard Droid : Sepratists: 22

HP 70
Def: 19
Att: +8
DMG: 20

Sa: Droid Melee Attack
Extra Attack*
Grevous's Body Guard
Lightsaber Resistance: +2 def vs adjacent enemies with a force rating
Protecitve +10 (Character name contains General Grievous)
Synergy +4 (+4 attack when w/in 6 squares of a character whose name contains G.G.)

*Love that they gave it Extra attack instead of double, so it can benefit from the versions that grant double attack. Very clever.

I really wish throw enemy let you move the characters and then damage them instead of the other way around as it'd've made for an awesome Self Destruct counter.

Sorry I got to be honest with you this one was a let down to me personally.
I feel it could have gone a much better direction.

Kaminoan Clone Technician
Cost 10
Republic

HP 30
def 15
att 0
dam 0

Heal 10
Clone Reconstruction 20 (Replaces Attacks, Touch; remove 20 damage from an ally with Order 66)

Improved HUD (allied commanders with Order 66 gain Relay Orders)

I just don't care for it. If anyone see potential with her please let me know! Right now I really only see it as a Replacement for Mas with some healing abilities. Maybe she will do it fdor certain squads...

Gaining Gambit=cost

Can heal Rex and Really Commanders getting Relay Orders does help not have to play Mas.

Meh The big reason why Black Sun are so great is because of the cheap cost. Yes I have a few for tier 2 builds. Just feels like a better version of the UH one.

I'd like to have seen lower missiles and a zip line abstraction SA, but he's still a fun little prune.

(no Daala counters just for your info)

Keep in mind this set list was devised BEFORE GenCon last year (before Daala was even released) and most of the stats were complete by late fall. So it was even before the true dominance of Daala in NZ, certainly before we knew how much of a problem she really was.

That being said - there are some minor Daala counters. I certainly consider a quadruple attacker and a commander that lets a piece move and then make all their attacks a good way to kill a bunch of troopers (and PS - ultra early spoiler - a piece that makes the 2 aforementioned pieces even better is coming in vset 9). Also Boba pretty insanely good - kill 3 important pieces without the worry of other characters in the way, all while having really good tricks to stay alive.

Can Be Interesting Combining him with Some Vigo's and Talon. alot of pieces can gain black sun due to the Nautolan BSV. Not TO mention you can get them Super stealth with the DUG
