I haven't seen Solo (and honestly won't see it in the theater, despite it's guarantee to be a visual delight), but for those who have I offer a CCC in honor of it. So get you're ships ready I have some goods I need to move and FAST!

In other words - Lets get smuggling! Whether they were at the trade for most of their life, or just 20 minutes. So Smuggle up with your CC device of choice and let's see who's the best in the galaxy!

General Rules:

You may update any existing versions you already have and/or create a new one. You may update/create several versions of the character but you must ultimately select 1 you wish to run with. (this must be done by the schedule below)

2. Place a hyperlink in this forum to make it easier to find your character. You can just post the stats or image here but if changes are needed it would be easier (and save space) if you just used a Hyperlink (If you don't know how to post Hyperlinks in a forum setting please ask and we will help you. It's not hard )

3. Voting works as follows, pick your three favorite customs based on accuracy to the character, design, balance or whatever you decide makes the best incarnation of the challenge character. First place receives 3 points, 2nd place receives 2 points, and 3rd place receives 1 point.

4. You do not have to enter the contest in order to vote. But unless you enter you must have at least 10 forum posts.

5. To make things fair you must vote in order to win the contest. Try to give feedback if possible to help designers out. You must choose three characters entered in the contest and you may not rate or vote for your own character.

6. The winner will be decided by how many points they receive. Ties will be broken by most 1st place votes, then if still tied, 2nd place votes and then 3rd place votes. If still tied, then the outcome is a tie.

7. You may not change or update the entered character AFTER the deadline.

You will have until Sat, June 9th, 2018 @8pm EST to get your submissions in. Anything submitted after this point will not be included in the voting.


Voting will start at 8pm on Saturday evening and end at 11pm EST on Monday, June 11th, 2018.
At the conclusion of the voting the scores will be tallied and the winner will start a new topic with their choice of theme

I've got 32 smugglers stocked up and I actually like a bunch of them but I'm not sure which two to toss out here; and yes some are even Unique's ….

Back in a bit ….. thinking; this could be amusing.

Edit: So, jen & shmi always seem to want something tier-ish. Some of my smugglers are Rebel, Republic, and Separatist; those factions are too strong already, so no …

Can't do a Fringe non-unique; unless they bring something new, why bother, and if its something new, wouldn't a Unique do it? … starting to narrow it down ….

I am about to watch Solo for a 2nd time tonight, I will absolutely make a character from it... Just haven't decided which one yet!

N2-CRD Smuggler Droid This guy is so old, I don't even remember where I found the pic but I always liked him; and the Solo movie and the SW book "Last Shot" both have independent droids in them so I thought they'd be appropriate.





Alderaan Smuggler I've always liked the idea that Alderaanians didn't necessarily join the Rebellion but still got back at the Empire in some way. Imp Hunter and Survival Expert seem to fit nicely; bonus brownie points if you get where the flavor comes from.





Arcona Smuggler I like the Arconans, and I admit I'm amused by his Everythings Under Control SA. So sue me





Koth Vortena, Sith Smuggler Well, I figured that since the OR had their own smuggler, why not the Sith? Their empire was pretty extensive and somebody I'm sure was doing Something illegal. Agile and Code of Ethics I stole out of his Wook entry.




A little help would be nice narrowing these down to one.

korth is hard. he has cunning so GARY does not work, he has evade so lessens the desire to pay 18 for speed 8. he is in sith so no real other boosts (+10 adj and force renewal).
He costs 35, which is the same as Atton Rand.
Code of Ethics could be devastating to your own team. Playing against a BHC piece and can't finish it off?

I also kind of wondered why it is 20 HP when he can deal 30 in one shot.


The droid is kind of my favorite. any way he can drop twin and add mobile attack?

Alderaan only has one attack and costs 22. How many non-uniques are there that cost so high and only have 1 attack?
Especially ones that have no other tech?

Arcona is pretty cool. limited but fun.
