Hi everyone!

A few reminders:

1. When the pairings are posted, please make sure to contact your opponent within a couple of days to get your game scheduled.

2. You will have one week from the time I post the pairings to complete your games.

3. You will be responsible for keeping your own, 75-minute round timer

4. After the game, one of the players (usually the winner), should post the results and a brief play report, if desired, in this thread. Make sure to include the squads played, the final score, and the victory points.

5. We will be extending the fourth round to accommodate a vacation of one of our players. I will provide more details closer to the time.

6. Have fun!

Thanks. I think I intimidated him so badly that he forgot to put his squad on the board.

Have mine scheduled! Can't wait to play some Vset 24! (I am using Ochi Bestoon, who is going to struggle up against Damage Reduction, Soresu, and Dodge, so we will see what the assassin can do!)

TimmerB123 over Randy 200-172 (3-1)

I won map roll but chose his map - Royal Militia HQ. He started on left.

I moved my guys to the top corridor with Battle Ready, and I sprinted my guys to his half of the map to accomplish Mission: Infiltration and give my shooters twin.

I stuck a mouse on his green square to make him work for his Mission: Acquisition.

He moved up to gambit with most of his squad. I was able run 12 at the end of round 2 to lob a grenades 30 with Fennec and hit Depa and Caleb (even with FPRR for both), and Hunter made the save. I tucked into the little office just up and to the right of gambit. Crosshair pops the mouse on the Mission Acquisition green square, and I replace it with another mouse. Migs found a shot on Crosshair, but miss/miss with the sick synergy his squad had.

Won init and lobbed 2 more grenades, but he made all 6 saves on the first try. He moved Depa deeper with Hunter's tacking, and took out the mouse covering the special green space. Then he used acrobatic to get Depa deep in my grill and attacked Cobb Vanth. He crit (I failed save 6 Beskar), missed, and crit again (I failed save 6 Beskar), and Cobb dies without doing anything. 2 of my 5 attackers went down without doing a single thing, I thought I was hosed. He then got Tech on the special green space to give Hunter the free move, and had Hunter take out Miggs out with gauntlet knife and cunning. I went with Cara Dune and got 60 more through on Depa, leaving her with 30 left. He brings Wrecker up near the action. I took the AoO with Din (hit, beskar made, miss for 10 damage) to get within 3 of Wrecker, Tech and Depa and used Whistling birds to get around her accursed SSM and kill her.

I win init again and use Cara to try and take out Wrecker, but she hits, misses, Crits, and MISSES AGAIN! Leaving Wrecker with 20hp. He uses Wrecker to take out Cara wham bam, and he brings up Hunter to being Mando down to 30hp. A Tusken swats Hunter for 10 on the way. Fennec double twins Hunter using Sniper, but only hits twice leaving him with 30, and I go for the gusto and toss a grenade on hunter, finishing him off, but Tech makes the save (even with the -4), and Mando fails, but luckily makes the beskar save leaving him with 10 hp. I have a bunch of scrubs in the way of crosshair, so he's working his way through them. Mando takes his turn and finishes Wrecker (20 hp left) and Tech (40hp left). Caleb kills a scrub. Tusken hits Caleb (and he's down to 10hp left).

I win init AGAIN and use my Tusken to finish off Caleb, and Crosshair hits Mando then tucks into gambit, and Mando fails the save. It's essentially Crosshair vs Fennec. I stick a bunch of scrubs in the way and position for a grenade, but he makes the save.

I win init AGAIN, and Fennec snipers 4 hits to finish Crosshair and the game.

The game was fun and it had some surprising swings. Always great to play Randy. Could have easily gone the other way

FlyingArrow over UrbanShmi 214-117 on Imperial Checkpoint.

I was on left, Laura on right. I put Jabba at the top left corner of gambit. I used Bib's movement to get the main attackers up into the main room in round 1. Laura and her many movement breakers got Depa and Dume in there as well. Fennec and Black K were out front. Fennec got off a cannon shot at the end of round 1 (soresu'd), and Black K threw a couple of chairs at Depa (one got through for 50dmg).

Top of round 2, NS Hunter hit Caleb for a good amount of damage. Then Caleb and Depa went after Fennec and Black K, who were adjacent. Since they were adjacent, they could bodyguard each other, but a lot of damage came through in two activations, and it killed Fennec and left Black K at 30hp. One more missed Parry and my game would have likely been over. Jabba cannoned NS Hunter and Black K, which took out Depa. Then Blizz came in with a Flamethrower to finish off Caleb, who had been brought near defeat by NS Hunter. Anakin came in and killed Blizz, and in return Black K sent some computing machinery to land on his head twice, defeating him. The Twi'lek Jedi and Coleman came in next, and one of them finally got through Black K's parries to kill him.

NS Hunter and Pote finally finished off the last two jedi. My reinforcements included a Central Isopter Cultist, but by the time he was close enough to help, Black K was angry enough to not need the help. And then a Warbird Pirate for another cannon target, who missed every shot he took.

Laura had one Spaarti remaining. I had all 3 main commanders (Jabba, Pote, Bib), the Warbird, NS Hunter, and all the fodder except the TC-70, who killed himself shooting the illicit blaster: one miss and then killing a Spaarti.

Sounds like fun!
It would be cool if Black K takes the Green square and after throwing turns the green square into a yellow square and it can't be used anymore. HAHAHA He throws the object and leaves a mess behind and can't use that square to throw from anymore.

urban jedi win 216-198 over Gandalf in a barnburner of a game

I won map, joe deferred and I took the right. Joe pushed up and did a ton of damage with bane and then in rd 3 teleported around and killed ochi. betwwen vader and set harth, did a decent amount of damage to both bane and tulok. I set up for a key init and won in, and with a little luck (some high rolls on my part and some bad saves on gandalfs part, I was able to exactly finished off Bane and Tulak. This left me with a 10hp vader and 10 hp set harth against basically the rest of his squad. The next round saw Gandalf take out set harth and I killed a couple of the scrubs.

Gandalf missed some attacks, vader made a LS defense or two and we closed in on the final round, Vader had a key crit and against his imperial agent to kill him, then proceeded to make a LS defense save and victory without war save to stay alive as both our nexus died as they were finally out of force.

This was a great game with lots of swings both ways with highs and lows in both directions.

Sounds pretty crazy! I always think of the skirmishes as being their own little story. This story had some crazy things go down.

Stay tuned for the next SITH BATTLE as I play Mando today! Sith seem to be getting some love with the addition of Tulak and Ochi and Sidious.

Udorian beat Mando 3 pts to 1 pt.

We played on Imperial Garrison and he set up on left and I set up on right. Lets just say that Exar Kun made a lot of saves and a huge Kaan Bomb is what gave me the chance. Plageuis is a fun piece with his Soresu, Absorb, DR10, and Force Attuned Reflexes. I got 2 Tactical Assaults off with Ochi, I think Ochi will always be worth the 23 points. I love Revan. It was my 2nd time playing him and he is so fun.
The game was played all over and he had Gambit once and I had Gambit once. It was a super fun game with some epic amount of Force Points used. and man Freedon Nadd sucking your Force Points away was a really cool thing to have happen, very Ancient Sith like. I really like the way Sith "feel" when playing them.

Spry beats N3rd 3-1
Score: 204-119

He won map and we played on checkpoint. It was a great game with bad rolls all around with some better rolls spread around. My saving grace was needing lower #'s to hit where as most of his attacks required at least a 10 to get through. It was a great game and he made some great moves. The sheer output of shots from me won the day though.

You will have until noon next Friday, October 14, to complete your round. Please also let me know by then if you plan to switch squads for rounds 3-4 and, if so, send me the squad information and map.

Looking forward to some Depa on Depa action this round!
