The rebels have had another victory against the 501rst legion stormtroopers. Leading the way was 5 red hand troopers, combining fire with spotter 20 from rebel leader to kill Vader, but time ran out before they could go after GARY and Admiral Piett.
Final Score
Rebels- 145 points defeated
Imperials-39 points defeated
Uniques defeated
R2 with extended sensor
Vader, Agent of Evil

More info posted soon

what a surprise!?
logically there are more Vaders for the empire, than R-2's for the rebels
therefore, jak & GA JAK, SCE are both pleased
saving the other empire uniques is more important than losing Vader, AoE

Losing HanTrooper hurts the Aces but the demise of Weir is crippling. Outlaw City is one of my favorite maps of all time must have been a doozy of a skirmish!

screwNew Weir!Razz
the squads led by him in the first 2 rounds lostThumbDown
even the SCECool couldn't win with WeirThumbDown in his squad

Perhaps Field Commander JM had something to do with that?Wink

Unsure I AGREEThumbsUp
Razz Jak lost to Joe & GerryMad Crying Blushing

Must disagree. Jak (ISC) lost to Joe. All Gerry did was a little impromptu victory dance at the death of Gen. Veers.Cool

and I let him muddle my thoughts with his "victory dance" (physical & verbal)

I shall endeavor not to do that anymore Wink

The only remaining R2-D2 is the combined version: C-3PO and R2-D2.

Yet another underestimatation of a lost piece, AoE's CE is really quite valuable in this format. Yes thre are other Vader's still out there but getting this one off the board is pretty wizard IMO. Next up please dangle his Lordship for us to slay...Wink

So we look to protect them and T3-M4, during the final push to victory over the Empire.

Yes.

SC - good call sending an extra Override to a door-heavy map like Freight Transit Station.

All 5 pairs who played in Round 2 have now played in Round 3. Let's hope some of the inactive players pick it back up. Three more days left in the round. It's not too early to post the next map allocation if it's ready. I just added the new block for the upcoming Round 4 in the main post of this thread.
