Feild Commander Minitank, reporting the result of the incursion of Rebel forces on the planet Korriban.

The Nightsister Clan on this planet reported spotting a stealthed Rebel Task Force marrauding on the planet. A group of them, as well the garrision of sandtroopers on the planet, under the command of a visiting Grand Moff Tarkin, were dispatched to maintain control of the planet by dispatching the Rebel invaders:

The battle took place on the long open hall that was Korriban. After killing Mutor's unstealthed peices, the Grand Moff opted to ruthlessly sacrifice his stormtroopers to protect the nightsisters advanced on the rebel's battle line. Meanwhile Shaak Ti also advanced. In the third round things got interesting, as after the enemy force had activated the RA-7 droid was brought in to remove Shaak Ti's stealth, allowing my remaining sandtroopers to shoot her down to 80 HP. Meanwhile the two Nightsisters daringly charged at the enemy position bringing both within striking range of the opponent's Crix Madine. The result hang on the initiative which was won by the Empire (actually Cerous's rolls throughout the game were really quite sloppy in the pivotal moments). In the first phase both Nightsisters blasted Madine with lightning, killing him, while the mother put another 30 damage on Shaak Ti. Shaak Ti responded with her own attack but was killed by the combined efforts of the remaining stormtroopers. With both uniques down, Cerous opted to continue the game to the bitter end. However, without Cunning Attack the commandoes were unable to significantly damage the nightsisters, who proceeded to mop up the game with numerous lightning strikes, while the Imperial Dignitaries finished off low HP characters.

Ah that is a bad loss for us!

This is true, but the chaotic rebels will eventually sack coruscant just like Grievous did!

It was

First time playing on Vassal so it was abit to take in and remember the game! Minitank was great teaching me the ropes and taking me through it.
Two bad placements, out actived and bad dice rolls to spare was the tale of my game. Tried to salvage something by getting Moff; 1 good hit wouldve made me feel better but alas those Nightsisters and Dignitarys were too much for the rag tag bunch I put together.

A group of rebel vanguards leading a collection of wookies, bith and, verpine techs, stormed what appeared to be a secret military installation focusing on creating dark phase troopers. The Rebels advanced with a tech and wookie in each of the troop carts followed by the vanguards providing missle cover and supported by the bith and rebel troopers. The phase troopers responded with missles of their own and advanced quickly to try and stall the advance of the rebels, to no avail, the wookie freedom fighters proved a capable match for the phase 1 version of the dark troopers. The phase 2 and 3 dark troopers put up a valiant fight but were out matched by numbers and could not get out of the way of oncoming missles as quickly as the nimble rebels. All seemed lost for the imperials and with no real leadership except for some struggling officers, when out of no where a last ditch missle shot from a phase trooper almost leveled the playing field with the deaths of some wookies and a tech. The rebels responed valiantly and killed another phase trooper and one of the stormtrooper officers with that the remaining officer decided it was best to not lose all his precious dark troopers and fled.

No uniques used or defeated for failing both our supreme commanders in round 2 due to heavy work schedules, failure will not happen again.
