Just finished my game with Mike Moore Smuggler. I won the match 214-83. I lost map roll, so we were played Mike's pick of Asteroid Base and I picked the right side to set up. Our squads were the following:

My squad was:

--Cloaked Figures--
43 Jedi Master Jorus C'baoth
39 Quinlan Vos, Double Agent
36 Master Tholme
30 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Padawan
29 Aayla Secura, Jedi Knight
9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid
5 Rodian Diplomat
9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3

(200pts. 10 activations)

Mike's squad was:
--Tentantive Luke--
39 Commander Luke Skywalker
27 Biggs Darklighter, Rebel Pilot
27 Lobot
25 Admiral Ackbar, Supreme Commander
14 General Rieekan
12 Anakin Skywalker, Force Spirit
9 General Dodonna
25 Tantive IV Trooper x5
21 Mon Calamari Tech Specialist x7

Preferred Reinforcements:
(Lobot) 12 Klatooinian Assassin
(Lobot) 8 Muun Tactics Broker

(199pts. 21 activations)

I actived Master Mind Meld with Joruus in the first round and cloaked all my jedi (except for Joruus) and then in the following round, proceeded to pick off tantive 4 troopers whenever possible with my force grip 1, making the attack granted by heroic sacrifice useless since Luke couldn't see the cloaked jedi. Mike did a bold move and rushed Luke forward to base Aayla and he won init with his Muun broker, killed a Tantive 4 trooper and used the force on his attack with luke on Aayla. He missed his 2nd attack off the flurry. He went first and did a twin attack against Aayla needing 6's after combining fire with some mon cal techs. He missed both shots (vassal dice wasn't kind to Luke this game) and decided to move luke to safety, taking a twin attack from Aayla on the aoo. Luke is at 40hp. I griped another tantive 4 trooper with Master Tholme and next init i towed Quinlan Vose adjacent to Luke and finished off Luke with a double attack. Biggs combined fire and tried to kill Quinlan and got in 30 dmg one one attack but missed with another with a 1. I move Aayla up and do a lightsber sweep on 2 mon cal techs and a tantive 4 trooper, giving Biggs another shot at quinlan. Quinlan is now low on health and dies the next round after init. Aayla then lightsaber assaults in to kill Biggs and at that point it is clean up. Mike's klat manages to kill Aayla who is at 30hp, but a full health Obiwan and Master Tholme and a griping Joruus clean up the rest. The game ends when Lobot is the only one left and since he doesn't have a damage rating, the game ends with a full victory. Miike's squad was a tough one to beat and he severely outactived me in this game and made some very good moves. Thankfully i had Force Cloak, otherwise the game would have been over fairly quickly. Force grip and Force cloak were really important in this match. Good game!

Dr. Daman just smoked my Mandos with his Daala Raxus swarm. Final score 188-73 He rolled Reserves on Round 1, and then he hit just about every attack that he made...I think he missed 2 all game. I gave it my best, but I just couldn't handle him. A highlight was listening to his 3 year old boy in the background, saying, "It's not just Vader...it's DARTH Vader." Good times all around! Good game, Dave!

Me and DieAndBeMetal played yesterday. He played Nom Bomb, I played GEO Bombs. It was a chess match for sure coming down to the last round. The dice were favouring me a lot. In the end one guy blew up setting off a chain reaction which I came out on top of. It was fun though. I think the final score was like 86-17 when we had to call time.

Just played my game with Darth Rattlehead who is a classy guy.

I ran Red & Black (Caedus/Malgus)
Rattlehead ran hmmm (Luke Galactic Hero, Dray, Ganner, Jarael, Bariss Offee, Rogue Jedi)

I won map, Bothan Spynet.

2nd round we each claimed Gambit, 3rd round we started attacking. Not sure how many rounds we went. 5, maybe 6? Rattlehead was able to focus a lot of Auto Dmg on Caedus and drop him, but not before Caedus controlled the outcome of the battle, Manipulated Vergere and Luke Galactic Hero together, and Severed his force, Caedus dropped Jarael. Malgus was able to drop Bariss, Luke, Ganner, and Dray.

It didn't look like I was going to kill Dray at the end, because he was able to Lightsaber Defend one of the crucial attacks from Malgus, leaving Dray with 10hp. It's the final round, and the only other attacker. I use my uggie, and make an attack on you. My uggie misses the first attack. I sac a recruit, and reroll. 20. Dray dies.

Final score: I won, 198 to 130.

Really fun game. I'm not doing this game justice, but then again it's 4AM. Just wanted to get a quick report in before crashing.

Was this a 3 point win or were you agonisingly close but just couldn't get those last few points?

well me and Kezzamachine finally got something to work and were able to get our game in. ThumbsUp
(thanks for the great game Kerry! Sorry we didn't have better conversation since Skype was giving me trouble. I swear it was skype and not the difference in accents!)

I was running
--Dinobi Rides Again!--
55 General Obi-Wan Kenobi on Boga
27 Lobot
23 Foul Moudama
20 Captain Tarpals
16 ARC Trooper Sniper
16 Dr. Evazan, Galactic Criminal
16 Qui-Gon Jinn, Force Spirit
11 Clone Trooper with Flamethrower
9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

(199pts. 11 activations)

with an R7 and a Klat Assassin as my reinforcements.

Kezzamachine was running:
--Mando the Great!--
58 Mandalore the Vindicated
38 Mandalore the Resurrector
34 Mandalorian Training Sergeant
28 Kelborn
27 Fenn Shysa
15 Ugnaught Demolitionist x5

(200pts. 10 activations)

I knew when I saw his squad that I at once, I was going to have a difficult battle and that I also had a great opportunity.

We played on the Command Room map (my pick) and Kerry deferred to me so I picked the right as I didn't want him setting up on that side.
we had some positioning to do and at the beginning of round two I saw my opportunity and took it! I had R2 tow my Flame Trooper and Place him EXACTLY 7 squares from Vindicated to spray his whole group of Mandos with Double Flame Thrower and Burning status. Kerry wasted no time retaliating, taking out my Flame Trooper (who I had moved to a "safer" position) and Arc Sniper who both had Stealth active, but Accurate won out and took them both out. R2 survived the first salvo before Vindicated took matters into his own hands and KO'd Doombot. I then had Dinobi Gallop up and Assault Vindicated for 3 attacks all of which hit. the first 2 were bodyguared and beskar'gam'd giving Fenn 4 shoots, 2 of which hit. Then Vindicated took the third hit for the full 20 damage. I had the not-so-good Dr. heal up Dinobi by 30 points as I miscounted and Evazan was disputed. Round 3 I stole the Int with Quiggy and had Dinobi double attack Vindicated with Precision +20, killing Fenn and doing 10 damage to vindicated in the end. Kezzamachine then retreated back toward the control room having the Resurrected take out the Dr. with Accurate shot and Advantageous. I failed the Avoid Defeat and suddenly Tarples is just one more act... Some minor shots taken and Foul Blocks a decent 30 damage from Vin with LD. Then I have Foul Force Leap over to Vinny were he will block the doorway and base Vindicated. Foul took a swing dealing 10 more damage, bringing the Vindicated down to 20 hp. He then had the Training Sargent (who Amazingly had survived the Burning) move down to take a shot at Foul, triggering an AoO that was sure to succeed right? Well the Sargent needs to train more, as he died giving me a much needed 34 points! Round 4 I stole Int for the last time and wasted it trying to clear the control room of Kezza's uggies (which I mistakenly believed was put in there to prevent Dinobi from Galloping in and killing Vindicated) Vinny then slaughtered Foul (who was at full hp) with basically no resistance. Taking Gui-gon with him. It was then that I learned that those two lines in the center of the map are walls. Which, God knows why, I thought were low objects. So that plan failed lol. I then have my R7 move and clear a way for Dinobi to get through the Conference room to come at there backs, which I did. Killing an uggie and hitting Kelborn and Resurrected. Kezza then tried to retreat with the Resurrected and Kelborn so he can get them into the safety of the Control Room (gambit too) Resurrected first whom I killed with a Lightsaber Precision +20 AoO. Kelborn then tried his luck, I hit and he failed the parry (that he got from the MTS) leaving him at 10 hp, then Kelborn moved adjacent to the Klat Assassin and killed him. Kerry forgot about Self Destruct 20 and lost Kelborn in the blast. Kezzamachine then resigned as he only had Vindicated at 10 and some uggies. Not to mention I'm pretty sure he was still burning! LOL

A very close match, I was playing catch up with the points the whole game until the end. The Mandos are quite hard to approach without getting it thrown back in your face. Great game thanks again Kerry for the game!

TINT and I played today.

Quick summary - will will expand later.

I ran:
--Vong-centric--
44 Commander Sha'kel
30 Supreme Overlord Quorreal
28 Zenoc Quah
27 Minos, Yuuzhan Vong Warrior
20 Yuuzhan Vong Hunter on Quednak
20 Yuuzhan Vong Jedi Hunter
15 Yammosk War Coordinator
11 Advance Agent, Officer
5 Zonoma Sekot Scout

(200pts. 9 activations)

Another Quednak through Quorreal

RevTrev ran:
(I think it was called "What would I do without you, Kyle?"
48 Luke Skywalker, Galactic Hero
31 Kyle Katarn
29 Ganner Rhysode
27 Lobot
22 R2-D2 and C-3PO, Galactic Heroes
18 Jan Ors
10 Jagged Fel
9 General Dodonna
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

4 camaasi nobles through Lobot

(200pts. 10 activations)

Trevor wins map - peaceful city.

I run toward the center room, he out acts and levitates Kyle to get some shots, but I get all 4 evades with my jedi hunter (Sweet, Thanks Zenoc!) He fairly effectively walls off my path to his squad from my Quednak twins. I get an angle to take a few plasma Eel shots (aka missiles 20), take out 1 noble and hit Luke and Kyle for 20. Then I cram most of my guys in the corner nook outside the central room, out of LoS. He licks his chops as he sees a monster LS Throw (with Ataru mastery granting +4 and twin) and R2-PO in place to disrupt most of my evades. Then he brings up Kyle to put some additional hurt on. Quorreal goes down (no crab armor), I am left with a beat up squad, with Sha'kel down to 40 hp. Then the Vong start to thrash. I wail on Kyle with my Jedi Hunter (he bodyguards a lot through R2-PO), and he kills my Jedi Hunter. I wail on Kyle more with Minos (including Shakels extra attack), nearly killing him, and swat Luke a few with Sha'kel. I roll a 2 on Kyle needing a 3, so he lives, but R2-PO does go down. The untimely 2 was made up for not too much later by my Quednak rolling a 19 to kill Kyle. Trev wins the next init and nearly kills Shakel with Luke, but Shakel finishes him off and sends Minos to take Ganner out. Ganner is killed in one phase by Minos and then it's cleanup. The game was actually closer than this quick report describes. The Vong barely survived through great evade rolls on my side and pretty good crab armor saves. Obviously Doctrine of Fear and Embrace of Pain helped cause some key misses. Trev really positioned his pieces well to give me fits on trying to do much of anything with the quednaks, and forcing me to take AoOs on several of my other pieces. I thought for sure I had lost after the second or third round, but it's amazing how quickly Vong can dish damage out and soak it up themselves. I'm not uses to rock squads, it was weird to play, but enlightening.

Final score I believe was 220-70.

Peaceful city is from Map List A and we're using C. Is this a mistake?
