My Son has a baseball tournament the same weekend. I guess I'm out. Grrr I was super excited about testing myself. Family first....

Are there ever tournaments in Iowa?

Wink only if you set it up

Jonny, you played at WI last year and I had a tier 2 squad. I haven't played many top tier squads at regionals in the past 2 years.

Scared of that OR squad I ran in IN? ;)

I hope you do come. I play regionals for fun now.

Luke and Leia?Blink lol

That's the only one in about 10-11 regionals. I don't think that counts as "many", lol. The ironic thing is that I never won with them.

Haha, that's fair

Of course. Just make sure that you and your opponent can tell which figure belongs to which card.

IE - 12 Vaders representing 12 Vong Warriors amongst a Vong squad may be silly and amusing, it shouldn't be confusing. But using Captain Rex as a Clone Commander amongst a Republic squad may not be the best idea since it could be confusing or misleading.

Alright, I tested with a 12 year old and he was easily able to tell which was which, so that means I should be fine BigGrin

Everybody be prepared. Contrary to most Regional past practice, I have my squad built ahead of time.

Fear the Tier 2.6 awesomeness of all WotC figures. I can hear you shaking in your boots already. Or is that from laughter?

You have me confused with Mark. He spends waaaay too much time coming up with clever creative names. I don't think I've named a squad before.

Last question, I swear. If i don't have physical cards for a couple pieces, can I just write the stats on a piece of paper?

PDFs are available online (of all the cards, not just the v-sets). That would be fine, I would think.

What cards do you need? Very possible you could borrow.

Well see, I was a bit weary about telling what cards I need before the tournament for obvious reasons Flapper
Where are the PDFs available?

At least you're attempting a name. Best I've had was Harry's Regional Squad. On the upside I'll know right away if someone copies it BigGrin

Pulling out the figures for the game today, I saw an awesome custom that LilyWan had made. I couldn't resist. So there has been a last minute substitution. And I now have one v-set card. So I'm up to a Tier 2.4 squad. You've been warned.

PS - Is it redundant to say awesome when mentioning a Lily custom? Doesn't it go without saying? But I had to say it anyways.
