Great stuff overall. Although all factions get some nice toys, I suspect this may be the set where people sit up and go "Hey, the Mandos are competitive now!"

As a huge fan of the KotOR comic, I'm excited to see Rohlan and Demagol, as well as the Covenant Jedi. Here's hoping that the implied-to-be-on-the-way Krynda Draay will turn the existing Lucien Draay into a Covenant piece (rather than just replacing him with a new version).

I had the opportunity to playtest in games with some of the Old Rep and Mando pieces, so I'm excited to see the finished versions.

Anyone get a hint from shinja about when they'll be available in the squadbuilder?

Overall a fantastic job. Really like a lot of the pieces. Galen for example is far more of what I would expect out of the character, and much more accurate than either current rendition. Love the bar tender and rancor keeper, great jobs there. Don't really get the new luke, but maybe we'll get a new biggs that boosts him or something in the future.

I love the use of flaws. It works great to balance cost, and gives such a good cinematic feel to the game.

A lot of EU stuff here (I was shocked at how many pieces i've never heard of, and I consider myself something of a star wars savant).

Was hoping for some ewoks, but, heres to the next set, and a job well done BlooMilk BlooMilk BlooMilk

Quite a few of those figures look good. The squad I'm itching to play most is a Nightsister swarm supported by Opress.

Probably the neatest concept of a character would go to Zann as he pretty much forces someone to bring in a big unit with reinforcements instead of activation filler, especially if he's paired up with Wuher.

At a glance im liking the look of marka ragnos, nomi, jaden korr, tyber zann, demagol, galen marek and vergere.
Sith alchemist seems like fun, and savage with his RAGE build up to force repulse 50dam looks fun.
looking forward to building a ARC/RC squad as well.
heres to hopefully seeing some competitive mando sqauds now as well.

another fantastic job, cheers v-set team.

I tested out the nightsister minis and when you start dropping force buffs on them they become VERY powerfull. With the mother and palpy, you have almost infinant force lightnings...with no way to block and auto damage. Glare Still not to fond of that.

The RM(Even Piell) for Vergere has a lightsaber. Does this mean that she also has a lightsaber?

At first glance I really like Vergere (for several reasons, but especially because he let's you bring in Jacen Solo variants into the Vong... may not be the most competitive combo, but a great and fun idea in general).

But, my absolute favorite is that there are SEVERAL (but not too many) special abilities that make it so damage cannot be prevented or redirected (especially the Rancor Keeper which gives this ability to all figures with savage... N=18+, plus a few with impulsive savage). I didn't keep count, but there were at least a couple of others, too.

I think it is great that GOWK is now legal in his intended form (see new floor rules). He was loosing about 1/2 his games with the WOTC sets, but I think/hope with the vSets there will be some reasons to still play him, and even more ways to be competitive against him.

Edit: @Baegn, it looks like they did not include the light saber in the image of the recommended mini (take a look at others with light sabers to see what I mean). Not sure what this means, so this is a good question.

You have it backwards. He can be in any squad with jacen, not that he can bring jacen into any squad.

And there is no indication that he has a saber.
