There needs to be a specific line about Override to keep it from closing a door. So far, I have not gotten any indication from the designers that's how they want it to work.

If it doesn't counter override, how is it different from standard gimmick?

Also, butt cabbage from swm gamers. I posted on the missouri thread about having had donated and what not, but he never pm'ed me out anything

It does open a door Overridden closed, unlike normal Door Gimmick. The text I had to use in order to keep it in line with what we have does not prevent Override from closing it.

Ah. Shop it can open it, but override could just close it again. What a gimmick...

At this point, it seems door control options are almost fully fleshed out, which is cool:

- Override: force a door in LOS open or closed

- Door Gimmick - open a door in LOS, if it hasn't been locked by Override

- Advanced Door Gimmick - open a door in LOS, even if locked

- Shatter Beam - destroy a door in LOS

- Door Shatter 1 - destroy a door within 6 using the Force

- Satchel Charge - destroy an adjacent door

- Firejelly - destroy a door within 3

- Master Slicer - ignore a closed door while moving

- Force Phase - doors count as walls when closed, so this fits...

Have I missed any?

Speculation on some not yet made:

- Door Shatter 2 - same as 1 but LOS?

- Door Shatter 3 - same as 2 but deals damage to nearby characters?

- Slicer (normal) - not sure what this would be...?

And the one big one we don't have, is to replace a door that has been destroyed. ThumpUp

Awesome ideas. I would live to see a character with something like "security shield: replaces attack, replace adjacent destroyed door"

Not sure what slicer would do, as the logical mechanic would be the same as master slicer but replaces turn, which doesn't functionat all.

Love the new set! Just won a tourney with a savage Opress and nightsister sideous pawn team. Cool new options for all the factions and Galen is a beast.

Oh and on the slicer note:
Slicer (replaces turn, doors within 6 cannot be affected by override or door gimmick until the end of this characters next turn)

I'm pretty those are scans of the actual cards that Sithborg made after the Lansing tournament.

The cards are printed. Other than a few minor errata, they aren't changing.

NIGHTSISTERS FTW!!!!!!!!!!! I love em! They and the Dathomir Witches are my favorite so this set is my favorite thus far. Just one thing that I would have like to see was affinity with Lumiya for Carnor Jax being that he was her apprentice.

The Vongsense seems a bit out of place. He mentioned that earlier.

On the plus side, playing Onimi means you can steal a Force Renewal CE with a Yammosk.

Except Onimi can't use the Nightsister Mother's CE when stolen by the Yammosk.

yep it's the vongsense...and the fact she's imperial...which begs the question (besides the obvious fact that a nightsister never learned vongsense) how an Imperial nightsister could learn vongsense?

That's why I don't like that character...because...it's completely out of character.

The only difference with Onimi is that he actually has Force Powers to spend the Force Points on. All Vong could benefit from stealing Holo Sidious's CE.
