This is the place for all the bickering, trash talking, questions, etc. It's also a good place for the peanut gallery to offer unsolicited advice.

Mods: If you could create a forum for the Drafting League like the Bloo Milk Booster League that would be great.

This wasn't intentional, but if someone does take 12 hours to make a pick it looks like they'll be stuck with the 3rd Mouse Droid as their default pick. That might not be a terrible thing, but since every team gets 2 free ones anyway I doubt anyone wants it as their first pick.

Great idea for a league FlyingArrow. can you explain how the 3rd round will start a little more? Will we continue with the snake or does someone just get to go as soon as the #picks + hours since last pick = 7?

After your pick in the 2nd round, then it will just follow the rule "# of picks since my last pick + # hours since the overall last pick >=7".

So if everyone is online and paying attention, Weeks will get the next pick since there will have been 7 picks since his last pick.

Continuing the snake might have been "fairer", but the cost would have been a draft that could drag on for weeks. This way everyone will basically be guaranteed the chance to make at least 3 picks per day. If you miss even an entire day or two you might fall behind 2, 3, even 10 picks, but you can make all your picks at once to catch up. The whole draft should be over within a week to ten days at most.

Unfortunately, Mods cannot alter the website structure. However, feel free to contact Shinja to see if he would be willing to help you. BlooMilk

Because he is a great shooter and even if i end up not playing him in one of my squads at least i will not have to face him then. why did you pick who ever you picked?

I'm sure you'll end up using him. Don't forget you're building 3 squads and so is everyone else. The 'best' 320 figures will be taken, and probably 240+ of those figures will be used in squads.

I'm tracking the draft with a google spreadsheet so you can more easily see what everyone has:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AhaGsPFqS-E9dHBVajR6UnlkNThUdUt2V3ZlTnJacGc&hl=en&authkey=CLTw0KEF

To make things easier for me to track, please include your turn # in your posts to the Draft thread.

Just overall turn number so far. Like just now Weeks took the 9th turn in the draft. At the top of the spreadsheet I have "through turn #9".

In case you haven't done the math on this yet, the way the draft rules are set up, after round 2 if someone is away then there will be at most one turn per hour. If two people are away then there will be at most one turn every two hours. But even if you're alone you can still take a turn every 7 hours. Here's an extended example.

If team A is away...
A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H
One hour after Team H's turn, Team B can jump in front of Team A and take a turn (6 turns since his last turn + 1 hour wait).

A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-B
One hour after Team B's turn, Team C can also jump in front of Team A and take a turn (6 turns since C's last turn + 1 hour wait).

A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-B-C
Suppose Team D is also away. Team E can take a turn two hours after Team C's turn. (5 turns since E's last turn + 2 hour wait.)

A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-B-C-E
Suppose everyone but Team B goes to sleep. Team B can take another turn 5 hours after Team E's turn. (2 turns since B's last turn + 5 hour wait.)

A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-B-C-E-B
Suppose Team A returns. They can immediately take a turn since it has been 7 or more turns since their last turn. They look at the team sizes and notice that they have 10 figures while Team B has 12 (the most of any team). Team A makes 2 selections on this turn to bring them up to 12 figures as well.

So if you're away for a while, don't worry too much - you'll fall behind by at most one pick per hour. And if several people are away, don't worry too much - the draft won't stall for more than 7 hours at a time even if only one person is at home for the weekend.
