So 5 people have dropped. Does this effect how many rounds we play and/or if we do a top 4/6/8? Just curious if we stick to the original call or not on this

Who's the 5th?

Pntkd2

Darth Jim

jen'ari

DeathsBaine

your right, just 4 people. I guess the 5 came from 15 people being left from the original 19

So who got the wins in the other two games that didn't get to play?

Interesting Tourney so far. How does SoS work with people who dropped out? Example being me. My first 2 opponents dropped after round 2. Does this make my SoS worse?

Depends

If they would have kept losing (or performed worse than what your SOS ends up) then them dropping helps your SOS.

If they would have won a bunch of games (or performed better than what your SOS ends up) then they hurt your SOS.

People dropping shouldnt change the number of rounds, but that is up to the TO as well as the top cut.

Tournaments don't normally change number of rounds or what the cut is mid-tournament.

SWM gives the TO the final decision, so it is really up to the TO in this case.

I will have the pairings up this evening. Kezza conceded in his match and DarthRattlehead failed to communicate.

Pairings are up. October 26 is the end of round 4. We have a bye this week (DarthRattlehead), but if I can't get a hold of him I'm going to drop him after this round.

We will stay with the five rounds that were decided on at the start, as long as people are okay with some weird matchups in the final round. The current plan is to cut to a top 4, but I just realized that I never announced that at the start, so it could be possible to change. I think a top 4 is fine for the number of players we have though.

I would agree. Top 4. At the most top 6. I don't know if there is a rule for a tournament that starts with 19 people?

Yeah, Bronson and I tried hard to make the matchup work, but we were never in the same place at the same time. Bronson tried harder than me and his squad would have beaten mine, methinks, so he should take the win.

Stay on target, Naarkon - you're doing a great job!
